00 Boys to Men ABC DVD was awesome. I can't even, not even off the top of my head can I think of a single song. The end of the road, that's. The only one I can. Love to you that one. You'll know that one. No, nobody cares. Well, the one that we used for and I know you're shining down. It was Mariah Carey, I thought. With boys to men. Who's the genius? Who's the genius? Mariah Carey or Boys to Men? I don't know. Probably none of them. Someone else? OK. Anybody have anything to open? Are we? My wife Ashley made me an espresso martini. Oh nice. A beer glass.

41 Nice. Well, I don't usually, but I'll. Oh, look at you. All night with that espresso. Martini. Oh, it's decaf espresso. I thought you were talking about me peeing. I don't know. Anyway. That will be accurate for Dave, yes. That's right. What are you drinking there, David I? Don't know? Some beer. Some. Beer, some beer. Hey there, this is. If they want to pay. For us to say the name, that's the game this beer is. Yeah, this is due to underwhelming demand. We are Dave, Rachel informed. And this is the podcast that's sort of like your lawn after the snowmelt. Some mangled, screwed up mess.

25 Yeah, and so it begins. Hey, Dave. Yes, they. Really struggle. Just my just my lawn, Yeah. You know I don't. March. It's not even a thought in my mind. Knock it off. Yeah. We haven't like gotten any of our spring stuff out yet, OK? Well, no. Just when you think, if you think it's spring, just think to when people will be opening their pools. It's not for another 2. Months. No, it's pretty cool. It was really nice as we record this, a beautiful day today. But I don't think it's staying that way and that's part of the problem. That's part of the problem. I've left my winter tires on on purpose, not because I'm procrastinating. That's right. Yeah, this, this.

06 Wonderful, fine, uplifting podcast. Is. Obviously is brought to you by Casper, A cause. Yeah, that's happening soon at the Canadian Dairy Expo in Stratford. Their live sale of Cavs happens April 2nd in the We Cover Cow Coliseum in Stratford and online if you can't make it there at dlms.ca. If you're not in the Stratford area, dlms.ca, they've got a frozen genetic sale. Maybe you don't want the actual calf. You want the calf before it's a calf that closes. It's an online auction and that closes April 3rd. That's online at farm gate timed auctions. You could check that. Before it's a calf, so. Yeah. Just the genetics of the calf.

48 I got in the way of you explain that where do you where do you from gate? Timedauctions.com, but register early to make online bidding easier. So April 2nd for the live sale, April 3rd for the genetic medic sale. OK is when it closes. All of this is, of course, going to a good cause. Of course, it all goes to the Children's Health Foundation, which is all supporting the Children's Hospital for Southern Ontario, Western Ontario, Northern Ontario. Everyone comes to this Hospital in London, so it's really important. It's the entire dairy community getting behind the sale over the 40 best calves and exciting news. New this year, all registered bidders in this year's Cavs for A Cause sale will be entered to win a choice of an Agro Plastics EXL Deluxe Hatch or an Ultra Flex Pen. And who doesn't want either of those? Wow, I don't know what that means. I.

42 I'm pretty sure the ultra ultra flex pen isn't bendable that you've. It's not a pen that you write with. No, I don't. Think it's a pen for a calf? Retail value $800. OK, Wow, that's a good price. It's. A great. Expensive. Free genetics, but pens? Yes, yes, there you go. Calf pens, not writing utensils. Calf pens, yeah, Yes. Yeah, I have nothing to say to that. Rachel. Thank you. Thank you very much Calves for A Cause. Thank you once again for supporting our podcast, this thing that we we do. And I would say that a calf would be something that you, you, you don't think you want, but eventually you'll go, how do I, how did I ever live without this in my house? A calf A.

32 Calf No. I'm. Just trying to do a Segway. Don't, don't. Just was trying to do a Segway. Rachel, it's OK. It's a slow start. Listen, I want to talk about something that I discovered that I didn't know I needed, that now I can't live without. Oh, like a calf. Well, like a calf. Like a calf. If you have a farm, then yeah, like a cow farm, yeah, yes, dairy farm, a calf, any kind. Of what? What kind of pen was that? Again, a bendable, flexible pen you could. Ultra. Flex pen, that's right there. You go. And the EXL Deluxe Hutch retail value is $620. Right. So, Rachel, more than Foreman, because I know Foreman well. It's a difficult time with Christmas gifts, am I right? Yes, I'm a surprised as the children Christmas morning, yes. So it's Jeremy, don't worry about it. Yeah, OK.

25 I was not. I was not worried. I'm not that. Surprised. But in your effort to provide a a great Christmas gift for maybe your children, but perhaps more so your spouse, have you ever purchased something and you go, wow, I'm very glad I did that. I had no idea it was going to benefit me this much. Oh. No, yes. Well, actually this past Christmas, Jeremy requested an air fryer, which I still don't know how to use and. He loves it. You don't even know how to use it. No, no. Wow, I didn't. Really care for an air fryer to be honest with you. They're awesome. They Ashley doesn't know how to use a BBQ or know how to use a lawn mower or many other things too.

11 Yeah, I can BBQ. I can't. You can air fry too because it's really not that hard. Yeah. It's really, but air fryers are great. I mean, that wasn't a. Christmas that. Well, IA few years ago I bought for my wife because I thought it was a great idea. We were both working at the time. It's very difficult to We didn't, we don't have as you do, Rachel, people, staff, butlers, maids. I don't. Have all that stuff. We don't have that so we have to do our own cleaning and all that stuff. So I got, you know, a robotic, a vacuum, which I thought was a great gift. My wife again Foreman, you'll love this, Has no idea how to operate it. Well, I thought the whole point is you don't operate it. It operates it well, yes.

57 But she still. She still doesn't even know how to turn it on. Oh. Like I gave it to her, but it became my thing. And I, you know, that was one of those gifts where I thought, well, this is a great idea. I think it's a great idea. I'm giving you other things. It's not like I'm giving you a vacuum. I'm just giving you something that will clean the house while you're working. I don't. Know if that's a gift for her? I think that's just a gift for the. House it could be, but I didn't look. It's a gift for the house. See, I didn't. I didn't really. Look pretty expensive. Anyway. Some of them could buy. You maid service for a whole year. Look, I love that thing. I turn it on and in a way I go. Now I especially love it because I'm home doing all of that stuff myself, right? So I can stick it on and let it do its thing. And it always cleans up things that I don't clean up. So they're very handy.

45 Oh, they're very handy in one year, I thought, because I, I seek things out and look and, and go, you know, I'll, I'll find a list somewhere of great gifts to give someone or great gifts for the woman in your life or whatever. And so I, I, I seek those things out. And one thing I landed on was a weighted blanket, which, by the way, my wife absolutely loves. But so do I. I think I would love that too. So. Yeah. So again, something that I thought I I didn't need. Right now I really can't. Can't sleep? Without a Thunder blanket.

26 Yeah, what a great, what a great idea, Dave. What, what a great thing to come up with. So here's the latest thing I found and I'm telling you right now, I strongly, I recommend, I urge any anyone that is capable of getting one of these just get one 'cause they're they are the bomb and I had no idea I got again, I'm seeking I'm on a list. I see this thing, it pops up and I go, I've never heard of that. What is that? So I click and I look and I research and I do a little thing and I go, well, I want to get one of those. I and I'm always trying to find something that my wife isn't expecting, like the weighted blanket, like this.

10 When I gave it to her, she, when she opened it, she had no idea what it was. Do I need this? She said. I said, well, I think you do 'cause she's always, my wife is, is the person through six months of the year, maybe even 7 is always cold. So we have always found things for her that keep her warm. She's just always cold. So I landed on this and it was like, you need this in your house. And I went, huh, well, how much is it? And I'm clicking around. Anyway, turns out I got one. I paid $120.00, which is, that's, that's a lot of money.

52 And I I got myself and I bought it online. I thought it was for her. Yeah, I thought this was for. Her it was for. Her I caught. It and me slipped, right? Off the bat, yeah, I say that I. Mean to get I got it for me to give to her I didn't think that this was something I even cared about, but I got. It and it was engraved with a big DA No, no, no, no. No, no I didn't. Think. Anything I never thought for a. Second, wasn't it out with it? No, I want anticipation here. I paid 120 at Costco and then within two weeks I was at my Costco and I see it they've got it there $40 cheaper. So I'm like I'm taking the other one back. So anyway it cost me 80.

34 You can get them for 60. Look them up. It's a towel warmer. You. Have no idea. OK, who's bougie now? It's just. You've got the towel warmer. It's not even robot vacuum. It's not even that expensive. Must. You have a maid. Must be nicer. North of it must be. Nice it. Must be nice you have a maid and a Butler. Who cooks for you? Chair The Butler? Yeah. Who cleans for you? The two mates. Cleaning. Ladies. Exactly, because I'm pretty sure Jeremy does some too. Yeah. OK, he doesn't. Actually, now a towel that's very.

17 European of you, because I'll have you know, on a Saturday or Sunday morning, we watch an awful lot of House Hunters International in this house, right and everywhere in Europe. Too on the weekend mornings. It's. Pretty standard to have a like a built in wired in, always warming towel rack in the back. This isn't a towel rack. It's. Not it's not even very big. You you plug it in, you turn it on, you throw your towels in. My wife uses 2 towels. I'm a one towel. You put the towel. Towels. You put the towel inside, you put a lid on top and then. It's not a rack. No, it's not that. It's a little. It's a these.

57 It's the latest. I'm telling you, I can't. I landed on this thing. It's a towel warmer. Look it up. You can find them anywhere. You have no idea. It'll change your life. You get out of a cold shower. Now do you use them for all towels or just like bath shower towels? Just for, just for the bathroom. That's it. That's it. Not hand towels when? When Charlotte was, Here's the thing, when Charlotte was a little baby, we didn't buy all the baby stuff because we thought, well, that's I'm not, I'm not buying this. I'm not buying that. So we used to give her her bath in the kitchen sink, honestly, 'cause I had a little spray thing and you could rinse her off and she'd scream when you pulled her out of the warm water because she was cold.

38 But Janice smartly would put a towel in the dryer and then get the towel out and we'd wrap Charlotte in the towel and immediately the screaming would stop. That's how you feel with a towel warmer. Get out of the shower. No screaming when you get out of the shower at Dave's anymore. It's cold, Yeah, so. Ah, this towel is. So nice all I'm. Thinking of is in the winter time, getting out of the hot tub, get that warm towel. Yes. In the house. Yes. You'd have to. Can you take it outside? Is this like a movable bucket just. Plug it in. Just anyway there's a plug. Right by my hot tub. You guys don't have hot tubs, do you? No, no.

20 It must be nice. It must be nice. OK. I don't have a Butler or a maid I or a hot tub. Don't I have AI have a little towel warmer? Towel warmer. And it's awesome. You gotta get one. Can you bring it over? Yeah. And forget it here. No. This is due to underwhelming demand with Dave, Rachel and Foreman. The podcast that proves anyone can do a podcast, but very few can do a podcast that is this underwhelming. Thank you very much.

08 Thank you. Yeah. Yeah, true. That's true. Yeah. Yeah. Well, you know, it was overwhelming for me actually lately is. That's an easy one, yeah. That was, too. Easy, that was a you. Can't use an overwhelming thing when we talk about. Underwhelming new rule. No one's allowed to segue to anything overwhelming. Whelming. Yes, exactly. New challenge, new. Challenge. Well, you know who can't do everything? Who you know, you know who can't do everything? People can't perform like boys. To men me. Like boys to men, What? You know who can't? You know who can't? I don't know. I'm lost. Anyway, I went to go see Boys to Men recently.

49 Boys to men. Yeah, you remember the 90s group Boys to men. They're still together and awesome. Still awesome. Aren't they called men to senior citizens? Yes, 'cause they're like my age. They're like my age, yeah. So I noticed right before Christmas that they were going to be at Caesar's Windsor and. Not at some region at 8:00 AM. No, it's at a casino and. Apparently you had money that you weren't throwing at your Butler and your maid. Yes. Well, no, it was a. Spare. It was a Christmas gift for me from a few people chipped in for that, My mom, my sister. Jeremy. And because I was like, I didn't really ask for much for Chris. I said I wanna go see boys to men 'cause I don't. Need it.

35 I don't wanna towel warmer. I wanna go see boys to men. Yes. Yeah, plus the. Chauffeur needed some work too, Dave, so that's. Yeah, yeah, right. That's also Jeremy. That's right. So I we got tickets and it happened middle of March. So Jeremy and I went down. We made a weekend of it. It was on a Friday night and we stayed for two nights at the casino and went to go see Boys to Men and boy was I excited. I have their very first CD, Cooley High Harmony and I loved it as like a 12 year old. I would listen to that. And did they do? Other albums. I don't know actually. Had like one big splash. One or two hits and that was it.

16 Yeah, they did like, well, you would know, I'll Make Love to you, like you and you know, as a teenager, I'm or 12 something 12. Year old and it was an adults only trip. Sons, children, eh? Yeah, well, the show was 19 plus. I probably because of that, I guess I don't know it. Could be because it's in a casino, Rachel. Yeah, I guess maybe the. Gambling. Yeah, it could be the case I. See children like in the hotel part. So I don't know, I guess you can't. Listen one song about making love. We cannot subject children to that. Right, 19 plus, yeah. Have you heard a? Country song. Lately. I always remember this from when you know my time on the radio and at one point, hard to believe, but I wasn't playing country music, I was playing.

59 Boys to. Men. Well, that kind of music. And yeah, the end of the road is the one I remember. Yeah, ad nauseam. And one sweet day with Mariah Carey. Yeah, you would know that one. Yeah, the Motown, Philly Motown, Billy back again. You know that one? No, don't. What? No, I'm. Sorry, it is with another one, right? Yeah, it is with another there. I can't help you they're. They're on bended. Knee bend in knee. You know that one. No. OK, I don't. I can't. I don't know. Did. Jeremy, know any of? Them yeah, some, yes, he knew like the major, the singles, he he would know them. So what I first noticed when I we were in Windsor, as we check into the hotel, we're, you know, out for a few meals, just looking around, seeing who's around, pretty much everybody in the whole city, I think was about 40 something years old that weekend.

58 Weird. Yeah. And then so before the concert, we're going out to dinner, We're walking on the street, going to actually, you'll never guess where we went. I bet the keg. We didn't go to the. Keg, I bet. The keg. So did everybody else going to the concert. Oh my gosh, yeah. Nothing predictable about you, Rach. Windsor has so many great unique local restaurants that you could only find there and you go to that keg. Well, yeah, yeah, we didn't want like pub food. There was a lot of pub food places a. Lot of Italian food a. Few places. Well, we had Italian the night before at the casino. It was. What is pub food? What are you worried about? Like. Orders and fries. I don't want that.

39 Well, yeah, but they have other things. It's like a whole street of Italian restaurant after Italian restaurant. OK, Well, I don't know. I don't really know. Windsor maybe I drove around. I feel like I drove around a lot but. Yeah. Do you ever research where you're going? Sometimes I just like to. Go there a keg here See I just. Like to go and find a keg. Yeah, yeah, of course. Full, it was busy, so we're walking down the street. I'm like, well, that group of girls is definitely going to our concert and that group of people is also coming to our concert and you could tell who everybody, you know it was a full house at this concert. So we get there and they don't start for like an hour in.

19 It starts at 8:00. They don't have an opener. It's just a DJ who is I guess the opener, but like, not, yeah, it's not like a live. It doesn't work, no. You know what? You're. Typing the crowd a little bit, but everybody's kind of like, OK, like what are they coming out? This is a true story. I once this is how old I am. I saw Michael Jackson with the with the Jacksons in Toronto. And the opening? Act I'm not I, I kid you not, the opening act foreman. It was at Exhibition Stadium years ago. Like people are on the, like you're on the, they're up in the grandstand. We're down on the grass. We're up anyway. There are thousands and thousands of people to see Michael Jackson, who's just coming off of Thriller and then the Jackson brothers with him. And the opening act was a juggler. A juggler.

11 A juggler. A juggler. How can that be? Oh, it'd be. It'd be. To this day, that juggler tells everybody he knows. Of course, he opened for. That's who I opened for, yes, yes. Yes. Every poster of every show he's been. At 90,000 people in Toronto. How? Long did he juggle? For how long could you possibly juggle? For not that long. A 45 minute set. No, you can't. Not that long. No, there's only so many things you can juggle, right? Yes, until you start getting into jobs, wives. You know, like you can't girlfriend did. We juggle like fire or. Anything you can't juggle, Yeah. Anyway, sorry to interrupt, but that's what I got for a.

53 You got a DJI got. AI wasn't, I wasn't impressed with the DJI thought oh they should have. Had been better if they was juggling. Yeah. No, no, wouldn't. Juggling have been better. Maybe it would have been a little more something to watch. Like. Nobody's really watching the DJ. You don't. See too many jugglers opening anymore? That's. True. You don't see very many jugglers. No, Yeah, that's true. So anyways so finally they came out like 8:45 maybe so for it was like a 45 minute set by this DJ. Past the bedtime of 80% of the crowd, that's. What I said, I'm like, everybody now wants to go to bed. Like how long are they possibly going to play for? So they come out, everybody's like super stoked. Especially the girl behind me is like beyond, like she knows all their names.

39 I don't even know what their names are. I know the one guy was on a reality show about a cappella singing, and the other guys, I just know that they're in the group, like that's all. I don't even really know who they are. This girl knows all their names, every single word to every song. Like she was beyond this girl. So I was thrilled for her 'cause that kind of made it, made it nice. But they only played for like an hour and 10 minutes and then they were done. Yeah. So that was a little underwhelming, actually. Now, the concert when it was on was awesome. I was right into it. I was singing along with everything it was. That was awesome to see them and we had good seats, but I was unimpressed that they didn't. Play at all?

22 Yeah, I'm thinking Taylor Swift plays. For three. Hours. She has a lot more more songs than they do. I'm always up for underwhelming but in the case. Of I'm not, not for a concert. I don't know what a ticket for that would go for. Give us a ballpark. Just ballpark. I think it was like 140 bucks maybe. So you can get you know what, for 140 bucks you can get two towel warmers. And a juggler. And and maybe a juggler to work to, to juggle while you're drying off, that's what. You need. That's right. Yes, yes. Hello with my juggle. Worker Yes. Hello. Hello. What do you need?

03 So they did an hour. Anyway, they didn't. Yeah, it wasn't. It wasn't very long. How? Many hits do they have? We should look that up I. Don't know. I would say 6-7. So they did. Do some covers. They did some covers. If they have six or seven at 5 minutes a song, that's just over half an hour. You know, they, well, they had other songs that I didn't know and they did covers like they did a Bruno Mars cover and they did. That's what I want boys to men to do for me. Bruno Mars. Everybody does covers. They have officially had 13 Top 40 hits. Oh, OK at all. Right. At 5 minutes, a song that's over an hour.

44 There you go. If they didn't make it over an hour then you got ripped off. Well, they it was just about an hour. It was a really good hour. Like it was a concert was good. Plus you were full. I didn't walk out. There's been other concerts for bigger, bigger stars that I've walked out of and been like. A great meal at the Keg. How could? You and I had a great meal at the Keg and everybody was like 40 plus all 40 and overweight and we fit right in. You should do any gambling. No, no, we don't do that. All right. Just you just gambled on the entertainment. That's right.

37 This is due to underwhelming demand. We're Dave, Rachel and Foreman. This is the podcast that will help you truly understand what the term first world problems really means. Hmm. Yeah. Yeah, right here we got him. Yeah, that's right in our podcast. Our podcast. I cast. Yeah, I like that. That's different. I love. That hard, guys? Yeah. Alright. Doesn't. Matter how hard I try, you're never going to like my Segways. I'm going to go out of my way not to You're. Yeah. Exactly. And it's a podcast because in the video on YouTube, you'll be able to see a slice of pie that's. What? Kind of pie is that it is entitled Foreman's Elbows Up Canadian Pie named after me. Wow.

27 Literally named after you Well. You get a pie named after you. So what's in before you're about to? Go ahead, eat it. Go ahead. Try it. Try it. Is it good? It looks like a pecan. It must be. Good. It's super good. Is that what it does? It looks almost on my video but what do I know? I. Cut chocolate. No, I'm gonna. See chocolate and pecans in there. Oh OK, I was going to say it was blueberry. What do I know? Is it a chocolate pecan pie? Like a butter chocolate butter. Wash that down with a martini. You better wash that down with your chocolate martini it. Does go well with. It or your espresso martini? OK, so it's a pie named and it's called Foreman's Elbows Up pie. I like the elbows up thing.

12 I like that. Sure. Hold on, that's was a bad idea to try and talk after that. Yeah, you got to do a big, big bite of that big mouthful. So that is available for sale right now for purchase at the Red River Cafe in the Arva Flour Mill. Right up. The road from me I'm getting. Wow. Created by Cheryl and Joanna, the two witches of Middlesex County Pie Company. Really. The pie company is called The Two Witches of Middlesex County. Yep. And how do they? What's the connection with Foreman? Well, Cheryl, a few weeks ago back on Pi Day, March 14th, right 3.1.

53 Four. Yeah, I always used to ignore that because I I felt like nobody knew what that meant. Me too, until I realized that Cheryl was hosting a Pi social in Thorndale and I thought that's hilarious You're having a Pi social with pies on Pi day that. Makes sense? Why don't we chat about it on One O 4.7 Heart FM? Good idea. But yeah, why not? People need to enjoy pie. And I did. You always got to get. Hey, you always got to get a plug in it's. Like, well, that's where the connections come from. I understand. Your. Local radio personality. Yes, Gorman does lots of work. She had all kinds of pies, this big social bunch of vendors as well. It sounded like a cool event.

34 She was. And then she was describing some of the pies that were for sale at this social that included Song of the South. It's a pecan pie with just a splash of Southern Comfort in it. Just an emphasis on the Justice splash. Yeah, just splash, right? But my most favorite pie of all? Belle of the ball. Oh, OK. What's in that? A chocolate cappuccino, pecan pie, and it has a splash of Four Roses bourbon in it. Another splash. Cheryl yes, we kind of like our splashes. Sensing a theme? Yes. I well, listen, I'm a as we had this discussion years and years ago, I signed me up for a pie, not a cake. I don't.

17 I'm not really a cake. Person OK alright I I think I like cake. Well, no, but pecan these I do love. But these pies with the. Southern Comfort, Yes. And so I had to ask. Well, then, you must have given these uncertain times that we live in. There must be a pie that involves a splash of a Canadian whiskey. Sure. There must be a rye pie of some kind, right? Named after Foreman. She said no, but she hadn't even thought of it until I gave her the idea the. Inspiration. We brainstormed a couple of things. You know what, thank you for giving me an idea. 40 Creek I think makes a Maple cream. You're right here in Ontario.

01 Yes, I think I can do something with that. And said her goodbyes and went on her way and she had her pie social and I didn't hear anything from her until the following week that in fact she had created the Canadian pie. Yeah. So that one is Foreman's. Elbows up. Canadian pie. Yes. You want to know what's in it? I have a feeling I know 1 ingredient at least. OK, so what's in it is cans and walnuts and chocolate. Then also Murphy's Law, apple pie moonshine. What? And 40 Creek butter tart cream. Oh wow, that's amazing. How could it not?

45 I know, awesome. We sold out of them at the Pie. Oh, and so like, Murphy's Law is from Elmira. Oh, perfect. Yeah. And then 40 Creek is from Jordan. Yeah. So it's all local Ontario. Oh. And that's what I just ate. And it is. Wow, wait a minute. I gotta get you one of them. It's is it? Could I buy that right now? Is it for sale? At the Red River Cafe inside the Arva Floura Mill. OK, well that sounds delicious actually. I mean if. You want custom pie guys ordered? The two witches of Middlesex County Pie Company are all over social media. You can order it from them. I'm not sure if they ship it to Nova Scotia or further away from London, but you can always ask.

28 Wow. OK. And I never had, I don't think we ever had anything named after us. Rachel. Did we help when we were together? I don't think so. Somebody called years ago and said they named their cat after me. I remember that their cat named Rachel. They named it. Yeah. Which would you rather I? Didn't get a dog, I didn't get anything. I got nothing, but Foreman's got a pie. Yeah, whole pie, Yeah. Well, I asked, well, how did it go over at the social, she said. Everybody loved it. Really elbows, everybody likes the elbows up. Like that's very. It's good right now. We like it right now. And then, of course, I had to ask. Well, that's great. That's I'm lovely. I'm glad people liked it and I'm glad you sold out of it.

10 This is great and all, but who's Foreman? Everybody knew you from that other station. That other station? Yeah. From BX93. Well, she said those words. Yeah. So yeah, this time, yeah, all. These many years ago. No kidding. Yes. Oh. That's amazing. Wow. We're number one in the memory of the type of people that would go to a pie social in a church basement on a Friday night. Perfect. That's all we. Need. I'm getting me one of those pie. I gotta get a pie. I'm going for that. Yeah. Thank you, Foreman. I'm getting a yeah. Good on ya.

58 This is due to underwhelming demand. We are Dave, Rachel and Forum. This is our podcast and in. Case you didn't. Know, here it is. You're at the end of it. You know you can go back if you've skipped ahead just to hear what we're doing at the end. You can go back and hear all the fun stuff you don't want to miss out on. Don't miss out on the fun stuff. Yes, you don't want to miss the and if you're here and miss all the fun stuff and did listen, we too bad we again, this is due to underwhelming demands. You may know, hey, maybe you went. Right to the end, because you left us a comment, a voice memo and e-mail. Any of that and you want to hear yourself on the show. That's how I do it.

40 That's right. You can do. You can get a hold of us. Dave rachelforeman@gmail.com. You can go to our website underwhelming.ca and through the website you can get a hold of us any. Any which way that's why we made a website. You can also buy us a coffee. Did you mention that on our website? Buy me a coffee on our website, 5 bucks each and someone did buy us a coffee. They they didn't give their name though. So it just says someone bought a coffee and they say I love the podcast. Keep up the great work. Thank. You foreman pies and a couple of coffees and you're happy? Very absolutely. We don't get paid for the Foreman pies but have that. They sound delicious. But you'd be happy and then sure. Coffee or.

22 Whatever. That's right. Yeah. Yeah, it satisfies me. A few people were wondering because, Rachel, you put up some pictures of us from Saint Patrick's Day. Right. You're on your couch with your dog that hates your husband. Yeah, I was. I've been really actually at right after boys, Savannah got super sick like. Really sick. I'm sorry. Are you all right now? Are you? I'm a little better today, yes. OK, good. Yeah, Jimbo wanted to know. Dave, where were you partying? It must be one in the afternoon. He's old, so we won't be out. It wasn't run, no. Probably. Actually, we had actually had a party on we call it St. Patricks or same practice Day, which is on the 16th. Have you you don't know same practice day Where you. You went out on the the day before. No, we had a party here, we had a party at the house. Oh, I see.

13 A couple because it was a. Sunday, yeah. Yeah, I mean, if you go to Western or Waterloo or Laurie, they. Were having. Then you were out on Friday and Saturday. Yeah, they were having same practice days all weekend. All weekend, Yeah. But no, I was at the the Weasel, the Waltzing Weasel. Not that I get anything for saying that, but that's where I was. And then I tried to get into another place that I frequent and. And it was packed. Good morning. So, yeah, busy day. It was, you know, it was cold, but it was a, you know, it was a good day. Yeah. So that's where I was. My picture is of me at about 2:00. And you were working. At the Charles Dickens in downtown Woodstock on Heart FM. Nice, yeah. Kind of find out.

54 Charles Dickens. Yeah, it's right downtown. It's great. I mean, you wouldn't expect it to have phenomenal food, but they have phenomenal. Food. It's pub food, you know. Isn't there a cake I could go to nearby? Not in Woodstock there is. Oh, there's a Crabby Joe's down the street, though. Yeah, yeah. Go in there. Yeah, back to still the perpetual topic of the undershirts. Oh yeah, Cindy or Tom Vanstone. Can't tell which one is leaving the comment because you guys have a combined account. Says I'm with Rachel. No undershirts or T-shirts under a sweater makes it too hot. Yeah, like the sweater that I wore when you picked on me. No, I don't.

34 But if I have like a sweatshirt on like a hoodie or something, then I would. Because. Usually I would get too hot and I'd want to take it off, so I want to have a T-shirt on under it. You're wearing a normal women's T-shirt right now and I would say that is the shirt you would wear under any and all sweaters. Like it would be that one. Yeah, thick sweaters, I guess. I wouldn't wear it under thin sweaters. I would only wear AT shirt under a sweater. You confused me. In the case that I get too hot and I want to take the sweater off, that's what I'm wearing it for anyway. I'm not wearing it as like a guard because I'm going to wash the sweater anyway. I see. Yeah. Thank you, Cindy or Tom. You're very difficult.

16 But OK, I know. Casey on Spotify said Hey Dave, it's me Casey. Thank your lucky stars that the Long break music is all I'm complaining about. Oh. Oh, he yes, you read something from Casey, I think a couple of. Yeah, she was complaining that the bumper music was too long between segments, right? And but she's a but for Rachel, for you and I, She's only addressing this to Dave, saying that we're all lucky that she's only complaining about the music. I'll tell you what, Casey. What else could you have? Something to say, just come out and say it OK, because. Fighting words. I that's that's right, that would make nothing would make. Me want you to say it to I'm I'm curious now. Nothing would make me happier.

00 At odd. Than to take you on next week especially please. Especially. If you hear. About it afterwards. No, bring it on. Singling out Dave, we will make sure that it gets read on this podcast, yes. Absolutely. You can swear at me, you can call me anything you want. I'll be ready. My God. OK, Yeah, go. Ahead. I don't care. All. Right. I have reached the stage. Yeah. Whoever it was who said I was out at 1:00 in the afternoon, Jimbo, I wasn't. I was, you know, 330. Give the finger. Yeah, I have reached the stage where I don't care. So. Usually. Does go out for lunch and get a joke cools pizza so. Right.

41 Yeah, I just, I didn't do it this year. Hershey, Lady David, another one for you. Oh yeah. Cool. Yes, hi, Dave, Rachel inform And I'm commenting on the furnace issues that Dave had. Oh yeah, the switch. That he just didn't, simply didn't know it. I didn't. Know there was a switch, right? Didn't I? I woke up to my house being 13° and and not Celsius. Oh. God 13, I don't even know what 13 Fahrenheit is in Celsius. Well, zero is 30. How could it be 13 Fahrenheit? I don't know. You'd be below freezing. Oh your perks would freeze. Hershey Lady goes on to say I can light my pilot light because I've learned if you just say a prayer after the first, second or third time it might stay lit, but not this time. So of course I call my repair company that I deal with here in Saint Thomas.

30 I got my bill this week, $450. Ouch. Yeah, because it's $400.00 just for them to show up. Because. Because it was on a Sunday. And the week happens, Yeah, so. Next time. On a weekend, on the coldest day of the year. Yeah, so next time I'll damn well freeze until Monday before I'll ever make a service call on the weekend again. What does she say after the 3rd? What is it that when she tries to light the pilot light, what is it? She says a prayer that works. Oh, you say a prayer, I would. Yeah. A prayer? I think I'd be. I'd say a few choice words. That might be part of the prayer.

11 That'd be part of the prayer. Could it possibly 13 Fahrenheit is -10? That's cool. That is. Insane. That's. Really. Wow. That's. The pilot like. There's nothing, so I wouldn't. Be staying in the house. This is from Anna Neufeld and it's the subject is episode 48, so I I'm assuming that. Well. That's a long. Episode's 48, so I don't. I think that means. Anyway. A long time ago. Hi, Rachel's fun facts about the old video games and how blowing into them doesn't help. Well, we still have those. Remember the old Nintendo cartridges? Yeah, we still have those and we play them and I'm 21. They are so much fun, and I do think blowing into them helps.

52 Oh, and about the obituaries, we must have talked about a bit year. We don't remember episode 48. Anna, I'm sorry. Anyway, figure out when that was. She says, I already told my brother if I died in the stupidest way possible, he needs to put it on my tombstone so that when people walk in the graveyard they can chuckle as they walk by. I think that's true. Why not? You're done. I mean agree. You don't care if you die in a dumb way. Like, you know, the guy, the guy that went up in the lawn chair with the balloons, I mean, and he didn't die. But anyway, yeah. It was from October 3rd, 2023. The show notes include providing honesty after death. Was a topic OK. I do recall that actually, yeah, it was some. It was a very honest obit that we read or something. Yeah, that sounds familiar.

40 Now, yeah, yeah, you need to recall that. Yeah, OK. Anyway, yeah, so that's. OK, that makes sense. All right. Well then, not to end on a Death Note then. OK, one final message for Dave. Oh great. I love it. And it comes from Scotty OH. Good. OK, well, Scotty left us a voice note last week. Yeah, you can do that on our website. Underwhelming.ca did. He leave another voice. Note Not a voice note, just a note. No. OK. OK. Scotty says I agree with Dave's joke order assessment. From now on, I'll save the breasts for last. Okay, okay. Just because you had notes on his jokes, that's what, that's why.

20 Going to save the breasts for last. Okay, Scott, I got it. I mean, I like pie as much as the next person, but there's a certain place where you want to have a cake and the pie can't really step in and take the place of a cake. Yes, but that's not saying that cake is better. Not necessarily, but there's a time and place for pie, and there's a time and place for cake. Nope, no fence sitting pie or cake.
